Marci is a retired US Army veteran who served for over 23 years. After retiring, she started at Staples in Hanover (November 2015) and was
part-time in the Print & Marketing Department before moving to Gettysburg Staples as the Print & Marketing Supervisor (Fall 2016). She was the Operations Supervisor for Staples in Gettysburg, PA before they closed in May of 2019.
Marci is a native of the Gettysburg area, but has lived all over the country.
Her family has history in this area; her family owns Redding's Hardware, and in printing, her grandfather set type for the Gettysburg Times during World War II. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience that she draws from to help everyone here in the Gettysburg area with their printing and framing projects.
When she is not at work, she enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
Print, Design and Frame Specialist
Cam has been working in the printing industry for the last 6 years and is always wanting to learn new things with print technology. She was the Print & Marketing Supervisor at Staples in Gettysburg, PA from October 2017 until the store closed in May of 2019. Afterwards, she went to their production facility in Columbia, MD where she gained a lot more knowledge and learned more printing techniques. She ultimately left Staples in December 2019 to come here full-time in January 2020.
She is self-taught when it comes to using the Adobe Creative Suite. She learned how to use Photoshop while working for Staples. Just in the last 3 years, she knows most of InDesign and Photoshop. She is still working on learning all of the ins and outs of Illustrator.
Something most people don't know about Cam is that she was studying Architecture at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). She left her studies in the fall of 2018 to take care of family issues. She wants to return to HACC in the future to at least finish her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Architecture.
Cam also volunteers with a local non-profit, Collaborating For Youth (CFY), and is a mentor for youth at their Annual Youth Leadership Camp. So if she isn't at work for a week in the summer, that is most likely where you will find her. She joined CFY as a youth leader in the summer of 2011 and never turned back. She got to help with a multitude of projects and even got to visit Washington D.C. and attend the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) Conference in 2012 and 2014. In 2014, the CFY Youth Coalition won the National People's Choice Award from CADCA. She also got to help present how they made their positive messaging campaign successful at CADCA and the National SADD conference held at Tyson's Corner in Virginia.
As of July 2023, Cam is a Board of Director for the YWCA Gettysburg & Adams County. She is quite involved with a lot of behind the scenes work to help the YWCA thrive.
In her free time, she loves to draw, play cards, put puzzles together, build 3D models and learn about new technology. She also loves listening to music and spending time with her younger sister Shania. She does freelance design work as well.
Frame & Shipping Specialist
Shania had been in the customer service industry for the past 5 years. Prior to starting with us here at Gettysburg Print & Frame, she worked for McDonalds, Bankers Life, Healthcare Services Group, Frost Law Strategic Tax Planning and most recently, Gettysburg Smoothie Co.
She taught herself most of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Publisher, Power Point). She is slowly picking up on how the Adobe Creative Suite works. She learned the art of custom framing over the past few years when she would help us out here at the shop.
She currently helps her aunt at New Beginnings Archery and More after she gets off of work in the evening.
In her free time, she enjoys painting, video games, traveling, spending time with family, food, archery, being outdoors, and working on her car. She also pet sits for her friends, family and neighbors while they go out of town.
